Module 1: Foundations of FND    

- What is FND? - Biopsychosocial framework and 3 P’s model.  
- Identifying risk factors and common presentations.  
- The role of stress, trauma, and inactivity.  

Module 2: Psychoeducation, Formulation & Confidently Communicating the Diagnosis

- Answering Why Me? for clients

- Presenting a formulation that guides a treatment plan - include the use of the formulation tool

- How to confidently explain FND to clients (and families)

- Addressing shame, fear, and confusion

- Using metaphors and visual aids - FND smartphone concept

Module 3: Live Mentoring Q&A Session

- Interactive discussions after Weeks 1 & 2 to solidify learning and engage with other clinicians.

Module 4: The Recovery Approach

- Education, support networks, and evidence-based strategies

- Care coordinator role (and how to do it well)

-Developing hope and celebrating small wins.

 Module 5:  Navigating FND Recovery and Expectations  

-Resetting the nervous system and managing relapse cycles.  

-Beyond symptom management: mind-body reconnection.

Elizabeth Pearson brings more than 30 years of expertise as a Physiotherapist, specialising in supporting women and individuals with neurological conditions. Through her holistic approach, Elizabeth combines yoga, Pilates, mindfulness, and health coaching to promote sustainable well-being and mental health. Her mission is to empower individuals to move from feeling frazzled to flourishing, offering practical tools and unwavering support to help them thrive. Her compassionate and personalised approach ensures that each client feels supported and equipped to navigate their unique FND challenges.
